Rap Rankingz season 1 was the first of its kind in South-South as four universities battle for the rap honored position.
Following two weeks of intense trying out, two rappers were chosen from four Universities:
1. University of Calabar: Oka, Augustine Iwara (otherwise known as BoyWonder) and Ogbonnaya, Nkemdirim (otherwise known as 9ikkyfabz).
2. University of Uyo: Ekanem, Etimbuk Savior (AKA Timzy) and Umanah, Josuha Theophilus (AKA Stunner-J).
3. AkwaIbom State University: Ekot, Joseph Savior (AKA Jowee) and Harry, Charles Taylor (AKA Blings).
4. Cross River State Of Technology: Adie, Emmanuel Rayven (AKA Rayven) and Bisong, Jude A. Omang (AKA BeeJay).
The great finale hung on the 30th of September 2016 in Cultural Center, Calabar and it was without a doubt the a sold out show.
