Mr Opunabo Nko-Tariah, who is the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Nyesom Wike, on thursday night got away death endeavor on his life.
The media aide told newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday that obscure shooters opened flame on his vehicle at Israel Ama span in Asari Toru neighborhood government territory and said he was still in wonderment at how he survived the shooting.
He said the varieties of shots smashed the windscreens of the car.
He described:
"I am still stunned over what happened. I was totally confounded. The police escort let me know not to stop the car and that I ought to keep driving. It was God that spared my life.
"They thought I was at the back of the car and that was the reason they focused on that part. With the tinted glasses, they had reasoned that I was most likely at the owner’s seat and they conundrum the posterior of the car with shots.
"It was a nearby shave with death and I express gratitude toward God for His awesome intervention. I am a simple man; I don't owe anyone and I am not greedy. Along these lines, why might someone need to take my life," , he said.
