Prior today, the Code of Conduct Tribunal issued a seat warrant for Saraki's capture for not appearing in court in his progressing trial for charged false resource delcaration.
The police has said that the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase would order the arrest of the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, without delay.
As per the Force Public Relationss Officer, Mrs Olabisi Kolawole, who talked in a meeting on Friday, September 18, Saraki will be brought before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Monday.
"We are going to promptly arrest the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and produce him before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Monday"
"Since it is a seat warrant issued by a competent court, the request will be completed immediately. We would prefer not to pre-empt anything," Kolawole expressed.
