Ogun State Police Command has captured suspected armed robbers, who allegedly robbed and polluted patients and nurses at a private hospital in Ijebu-Ode.
The suspects were additionally said to have been in charge of the executing of one Alayande Oladipupo after dispossessing him of his belongings in Ijebu-Ode.
As indicated by Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, no less than 10 equipped robbers had been captured in Ijebu-Ode for the two incidents.
Adejobi said that the command made the capture while following up on a tip-off that the armed men, who had been threatening Ijebu-Ode and its environ, were located at Molipa-Ikanga range in Ijebu-Ode around 5:30p.m. on Saturday.

"The police agents connected to Igbeba Division of the charge swung energetically instantly the information got to them and hurried to the said range where the suspected equipped criminals opened flame on the police agents, who reacted with substantial flame power before eight of them were captured," an announcement by Adejobi read.
“These suspects have been identified as the killers of one Alayande Oladipo, who was shot dead in Ijebu-Ode on August 25 and those responsible for the robbery and r*pe cases at a hospital in Ijebu-Ode.
“The suspects had robbed patients and staff of the said hospital and defiled some of them during their operation at the hospital.”
