While expressing gratitude toward God for making the general population witness another festival, Abubakar appealed to God for the souls' rest of the individuals who kicked the bucket.
Gov. Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi on Wednesday emphasized the State's call Police Command, asking the general population of the state to be additional careful, during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In his Sallah message, the senator saluted the people, yet advised them against taking risks similarly as their own security and that of the state ,was concerned.
“As I congratulate you all on this joyous occasion, I urge you to be extra vigilant and security conscious, so that our celebration and determination to move our state forward , are not impeded and frustrated by those whose primary preoccupation is to inflict pain and cause disharmony.
“By the Grace of God, our collective goodness will triumph over their diabolical schemes”, said the Governor, in a Press Release issued on his behalf by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Malam Yakubu Ibn- Mohammed.

He encouraged the general population to utilize the event to some "soul-searching, with a perspective to enhancing the relationships between us and Almighty Allah on the one hand, and between us and fellow humans, on the other”.
